For over a decade Lucinda Newman has owned and operated Newman Consulting, LLC, a consultancy of organizational and funding development with clients from the nonprofit, ngo, small business, education, entrepreneur and government sectors.
Through rigorous training and International Federation of Coaching-approved classes with Ariana Strozzi, co-founder of the Strozzi Institute of Leadership and pioneer of Equine-Guided Education, Lucinda became a Certified Equine-Guided Educator (CEGE) and somatic coach in 2005. Lucinda then launched Horses and Pathfinders, Equine-Guided Education, Leadership and Coaching in Central Vermont.
Over the years Lucinda has helped improve performance for hundreds of individuals and organizations, including Vermont Technical College, Coffee Lab International, Norwich University, Central Vermont Community Action Council Community Economic Development, Montessori School of Central Vermont, Vermont Natural Resources Conservation Service, Vermont Organics Reclamation, Vermont Association of Conservation Districts and many more.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Policy, serves on her hometown Planning Commission and contributes as an advisor to The Flag Foundation for Horse-Human Partnership. Lucinda is adjunct faculty to Skyhorse Ranch and to Vermont Technical College Equine Studies program teaching Horse-Human Therapeutic Programs. She is an Associate Member of the Equine-Guided Education Association and her Equine-Guided Education experience has been acclaimed in Living the Vermont Way, The Montpelier Bridge and profiled in Times Argus Extra.
