More Info on this Session

Enjoy this eye-opening and paradigm shifting session as the creators of the Natural Lifemanship™ model share powerful methods that help heal trauma. Tune in to experience:

~ How an emotionally intimate partnership with the horse, which focuses on that which is good for both the horse & human, can create massive openings for change

~ How the common perspective that the human needs to be a leader for the horse can actually be therapeutically damaging

~ How Rhythmic Riding can create new neuronal pathways which help clients be able to make a new choice, rather than react with the same old patterns

~ How interacting with horses can create new cross-brain connections which open the possibility for truly transforming the underlying brain patterns of trauma

~ How the same method of helping a being move from survival reactions to higher brain processing benefits both horses and humans!

~ Why working with the body during mounted exercises is a powerful way for clients to learn how to manage emotions that easily transfers to life benefits outside the session

~ Why presenting horses as metaphors or mirrors can actually limit the therapeutic benefit of sessions

~ How working with underlying principles that equally apply to both horses & humans is the most powerful way to promote lasting well-being

brian reidTim Jobe is truly one of the pioneers in this field. Natural Lifemanship™ evolved from Tim’s work of over 40 years training horses, and more than 30 years using horses to help youth and families overcome adverse life circumstances. He has worked full-time in this field while developing an innovative way to help both children and horses, resulting in thousands of hours spent in therapy sessions. He is one of the founding board members of the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, on whose board he served for 10 years. Natural Lifemanship horse training principles are unique in that they were specifically designed to apply equally to horse and human relationships, resulting in deeply therapeutic work in the mental health field. Tim continues to train horses and work with a variety of clients at Spirit Reins in Liberty Hill, Texas.

Bettina Shultz-Jobe is a licensed professional counselor, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, and has 10 years of experience utilizing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Each type of therapy mentioned is integrated into the Natural Lifemanship™ Model.   In 2004 she conducted a seminal research project on EAP which continues to be cited in ongoing research projects, utilized in grant writing, and is required reading at several universities throughout the country. It is this commitment to excellence that consistently contributes to the growth and expansion of the Natural Lifemanship™ model of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.  She continues to help adults and children heal from various forms of trauma, abuse, or neglect at Spirit Reins in Liberty Hill, Texas.
